Sting and Jerry Seinfeld Make Special Appearance at Madison Square Garden to Celebrate Billy Joel’s Record-Breaking 100th Residency Performance, to Be Broadcast on CBS, Sunday, April 14

“The 100TH: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden – The Greatest Arena Run of All Time” Taped Last Night

• 17-time GRAMMY(R) Award-winning artist Sting, and comedian, writer and director Jerry Seinfeld made surprise appearances at the March 28 Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden, which was taped for the CBS special THE 100TH: BILLY JOEL AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN – THE GREATEST ARENA RUN OF ALL TIME.

• The special to celebrate Joel’s record-breaking 100th consecutive residency performance at Madison Square Garden will air Sunday, April 14 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/ PT) on the CBS Television Network, and be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

• Music icon Sting performed hits with Billy Joel, including “Big Man on Mulberry Street” and “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.”

• Emmy-winning comedian, actor, writer and director Jerry Seinfeld joined Joel on stage to raise the historic banner commemorating his unprecedented run.

• Last night, Joel performed some of his iconic songs, including “New York State of Mind” and “Piano Man.”

• This is Billy Joel’s first concert to air on a broadcast network.

• Joel has sold out Madison Square Garden more than any other artist. Since his first show at the venue on Dec. 14, 1978, through his final residency show this July, every single one of Joel’s concerts at Madison Square Garden has been sold out.
