Washington Post Live will present “This is Climate Summit: Tipping Points” on Thursday, April 11 in The Post’s D.C. headquarters. The high-level and dynamic summit will feature conversations moderated by Post journalists about the tipping points confronting the planet including the record-breaking temperatures globally and unprecedented investments in renewable energy.

Featured interviews include:

  • John Podesta, Senior Advisor to the President for International Climate Policy, in conversation with Juliet Eilperin, Deputy Climate and Environment Editor, about President Biden’s climate agenda domestically and globally.
  • Wes Moore, Governor of Maryland (D), in conversation with Brady Dennis, National Environmental Reporter, on pursuing a cleaner and growing economy and the key environmental questions arising from the Baltimore bridge collapse.

Additionally, Michael Coren, The Post’s climate advice columnist, will give a dynamic presentation about how social norms compel individual climate action. Joe Yonan, The Post’s food and dining editor, will also offer a sustainable cooking demo.
