The multi-award-winning GAA Social podcast is back on BBC Sounds. The new season of the podcast launched with an exclusive interview with Neil Lennon – the former Northern Ireland, Celtic and Leicester player – which is available now on BBC Sounds.
Introduced by Oisín McConville and Thomas Niblock, the first two episodes for this new season were recorded in live in front of a sell-out audience in Armagh’s Market Place Theatre last month with Monaghan’s Conor McManus and Neil Lennon as guests.
The recording was also filmed and is available to watch on BBC iPlayer
Presenter Thomas Niblock says: “The reaction to the GAA Social blows me away- Oisin too! The number of listeners, the warmth of their feedback and the constant evolution of the pod is humbling and only makes me double down on growing the GAA Social. Our listeners range from top inter-county stars, underage GAA players and some elderly folk using BBC Sounds for the very first time. We’re consistently growing, setting the agenda and with listeners scattered across the globe, the podcast is a touch of home. The key is to grow, make it better and bring more diverse, interesting and top names into the lives of all our listeners.”
The GAA Social is available on BBC Sounds and on the BBC Sport NI website with the latest episode featuring Derry captain, Conor Glass.
