FOX BUSINESS NETWORK’S KUDLOW CLOSES OUT NOVEMBER DELIVERING ITS HIGHEST RATED MONTH SINCE SHOW LAUNCH, BESTING CNBC FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE MONTH

FOX NEWS DIGITAL ENDS 2022 AS THE TOP NEWS BRAND WITH MULTIPLATFORM VIEWS AND MINUTES 

“American Built” Secures Most Affluent Program in Cable News Among Younger 25-54 Demographic Year to Date

NEW YORK – December 1, 2021 – FOX Business Network’s (FBN) Kudlow (weekdays 4 PM/ET) ended the month of November delivering its highest-rated month since the show launched in the coveted younger 25-54 demo, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, Kudlow closed out November scoring its second consecutive monthly win over CNBC’s Closing Bell, scoring 270,000 total viewers over CNBC’s 211,000 viewers, a 28% advantage. Notably, Kudlow has topped the hour three of the past four months.

Hosted by Stuart Varney, FBN’s signature three-hour market-open program Varney & Co. (weekdays 9 AM-12 PM/ET) delivered 252,000 total viewers, joining Kudlow as the network’s two top-rated programs, and placing among the top 10 in business television for the month. Additionally, FOX Business Tonight (weekdays 5 PM/ET) The Evening Edit with Elizabeth MacDonald (weekdays 6 PM/ET), CAVUTO: Coast to Coast (weekdays 12-2 PM/ET), Making Money with Charles Payne (weekdays 2 PM/ET), The Claman Countdown (weekdays 3 PM/ET), Kennedy (Monday through Thursday, 8 PM/ET), and Mornings with Maria (weekdays 6-9AM/ET) all ended the month among the top 20 shows in business news. Rounding out November, FBN’s Business Day programming (9:30 AM-5 PM/ET) drew in 190,000 total viewers. Month over month, all FBN time slots delivered gains in total viewers compared to October. 

Notably, November 24th’s Kudlow delivered FBN’s highest rated 4 PM telecast ever, nabbing 74,000 in the younger 25-54 demo, while Kennedy beat CNBC’s The News with Shepard Smith in its first-ever win, securing 30,000 viewers in the demo compared to CNBC’s 26,000 viewers, a 15% advantage.

FBN Prime’s American Built with Stuart Varney (Mondays 9 and 9:30 PM/ET) was the most affluent program among the 25-54 demo for the month, delivering an average median income of $274,200. How America Works narrated by Mike Rowe (Mondays 8 PM/ET) placed second with an average median income of $188,600, while Mansion Global (Tuesdays, 9 and 9:30 PM/ET) notched an average median income of $157,800. CAVUTO: Coast to Coast, The Claman Countdown and Making Money with Charles Payne rounded out the top 20, each delivering an audience with a median income of $121,500 or greater. Altogether, FBN nabbed seven out of the top 20 shows with median income in the 25-54 demo in all of cable news this year (2021td), as well as six of the top 20 shows for the month of November.
