Published: December 10, 2024 — On The Radio 2 Breakfast Show, Zoe Ball welcomed guests Ruth Jones and James Corden who revealed to the nation that they will be presenting BBC Radio 2 Breakfast: A Gavin and Stacey Takeover live on Monday 23 December (6.30-9.30am).
James and Ruth will be joined by many of their fellow cast members from the series including Joanna Page, Mat Horne, Rob Brydon, Alison Steadman, Larry Lamb and Rob Wilfort – ahead of the much-anticipated final ever episode which will air on BBC One and iPlayer on Christmas Day (9pm).
Over three joyous hours in the Radio 2 studio, they will be entertaining listeners, exclusively revealing secrets about the making of the upcoming finale, sharing memories from the series across the years, talking about their favourite festive traditions and, of course, playing some brilliant songs to soundtrack the show as they invite us to ‘step into Christmas’ with them! She’ll be choosing the songs that have soundtracked her life and incredible career on stage and screen.
