BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) paid tribute to the best in songwriting at the 2024 BMI Pop Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. A night of celebrating music excellence, the event honors the songwriters and publishers of the previous year’s 50 most-performed pop songs in the United States, based on receiving the most performances on terrestrial radio, satellite radio, and digital streaming services over the past year.
BMG songwriters took home four awards over the course of the evening with Mura Masa (‘Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2’), Livingston (‘Daylight’), and Jelly Roll (‘Need a Favor’) all receiving first time BMI Pop Awards honors.
Bebe Rexha also took home an award for co-writing her chart-topping, multi-Platinum, global smash hit ‘I’m Good (Blue)’.
