CBS’ Premiere Week Multiplatform Audiences Rise vs Year Ago For 13 of 15 Returning Series
The CBS freshman drama TRACKER continues to deliver huge numbers with its second original episode (Feb. 18) amassing nearly 13 million viewers across broadcast and streaming. The premiere episode, which launched on Super Bowl Sunday, has now been watched by 30 million multiplatform viewers.
TRACKER now ranks as the #1 most watched entertainment series of the season, according to Nielsen’s Most Current data.
During its premiere week (Feb. 12-18, 2024), CBS launched 16 of its 19 primetime entertainment series, with 13 of its 15 returning series rising from their respective 2022-23 premiere week multiplatform audiences, and five scoring double-digit percentage increases.
Five CBS series, led by TRACKER’s 12.9 million, earned elite status in the “10+ Million Viewer Club”: NCIS (11.5m), YOUNG SHELDON (11.2m), FBI (11.1m) and GHOSTS (10.9m). Ten of the series earned more than 9 million viewers: adding BLUE BLOODS (9.7m), FIRE COUNTRY (9.4m), NCIS: HAWAI’I (9.3m), FBI: MOST WANTED (9.1m), and THE EQUALIZER (9.0).

Additionally, compared to the same two weeks last February, viewership for CBS primetime content is up +25% on the Network and is up triple digits in streaming.
