New York, NY – April 11, 2024 – As part of AMC Networks’ Upfront presentation today, WE tv, the network’s destination for compelling unscripted television, announced the greenlight of Tia Mowry: My Next Chapter, a docuseries that dives head-first into the post-divorce, new-lease-on-life universe of multi-talented, Tia Mowry.

Tired of people distorting the narrative of her relationships and life; Tia is removing the filter like never before. Tia Mowry has spent her whole life as part of a duo. First, entering the world, growing up with and then working with her twin sister Tamera; then spending nearly 20 years with her ex-husband. Recently divorced, for the first time in her life, she is truly experiencing what life is like on her own both personally and professionally.

In each episode, the series delivers unprecedented access to behind-the-scenes ongoings of Tia’s multifaceted life. We’ll join her as she navigates her newly single status, motherhood, building businesses and juggling her super busy and ever-evolving career. Tia is ready to date, take her multiple businesses to the next level, and discover what makes her happy. With this exciting new chapter comes profound changes and adjustments to the roles Tia plays in her everyday life, and her next act.

The multi-hyphenate actress, producer, author and entrepreneur Tia Mowry has had a career spanning three decades after becoming a pop culture icon. She has acted and produced various TV shows and movies and most recently starred in hit Netflix series Family Reunion, which won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Children’s Program. She has published several books including her second cookbook, “The Quick Fix Kitchen.” Her new hair care line, 4U is available in Walmart stores nationwide. Mowry has over 25 million social media followers.

“I am excited to share more about myself, both personally and professionally. Having been in the public eye for most my life, things often get misinterpreted, or people get misled. I am excited to pull back the curtain on this next chapter of my life,” said Mowry.

“It’s been a joy watching Tia’s career progress since staring on beloved series Sister, Sister, to culture classic The Game and films such as Baggage Claim, proving she is the epitome of a true force within the industry,” said Brett Dismuke, Head of Content, WE tv and ALLBLK. “Tia has maintained tremendous success with a prolific career that continues to evolve, however, there is much more than meets the eye. We are thrilled Tia trusted WE tv to share her unfiltered journey, giving viewers deeply personal and unapologetic access as she enters her next chapter.”

“Tia’s willingness to be open about her life has been a breath of fresh air,” said Jesse Collins Entertainment’s President Dionne Harmon and Unscripted Executive Vice President Madison Merritt. “We are extremely excited to be working with Tia and WE tv on this fun, heartwarming and candid project and know that the audience will connect with her as much as we have.
