Following a spectacular engagement at the legendary Carnegie Hall in December, singer/songwriter, pianist and Hollywood film score composer Randy Edelman will be heading to New England for a Valentines Day Weekend In New England. Known for his romantic ballads including the iconic “A Weekend In New England” (as covered and recorded by legendary artist Barry Manilow), Edelman will be performing at the First Parish in Milton MA on Friday February 14, 2025 @ 8:00 PM as part of The Heritage Music Series. The Unitarian Universalists church featuring Reverend Lisa Ward and founded in 1678 serves the community as a concert venue showcasing their 1898 new Steinway Grand Piano, as well as an arc of love, faith and compassion. It is located @ 535 Canton Ave. Milton MA. The concert is presented by Jeffrey Stoodts, television host of Jeff Stoodt’s “Great American Songbook.” Edelman will also guest on the show as well.
Then on Saturday February 15, 2025 @ 5:00 PM The New England Music Hall Of Fame with President and Host Christopher Annino will be holding its official induction ceremony at The Vault @ 791 Purchase Street, New Bedford Massachusetts. As last years inductee to the NEMHOF, Randy Edelman will be performing.
The mission of the NEMHOF is to “ unite, educate, heal, promote, and preserve the integrity of New England’s music, and the people who embody it.” hello good night to you say something The inductees this year include: Charlie Farren (Joe Perry Project), David Hull (Aerosmith), Mary Gaines Bernard (SSD), Grammy nominated Jon Butcher, Broadway producers Tom & Michael D’Anora, Maya Days (Law & Order), Mary Callanan (Mama Mia), Doug Wimbish (Living Color), Dave Brubeck, The Monkees, and a marathon of others. Note: The NEMHOF will be holding a food drive for PACE (People Acting in Community Endeavors) so please bring a nonperishable item or canned good. There will also be a 50/50 raffle for the South Coast LGBTQ+ Network
On Sunday February 16, 2025 you can see Randy perform at 1353 Cambridge Street, Cambridge MA. (617-955-7729). The Lilypad is an award-winning music venue and event space located in Inman Square voted Best Music Venue in Cambridge, and winner of the Arts Fuse Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts in New England. It is a gathering place and Boston’s home for avant-garde music. Randy will be performing there from 4 PM to 6 PM.
