Peter Frampton and Ozzy Osbourne Selected For Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction

23 April 2024 – The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled its 2024 inductees with BMG publishing clients Peter Frampton and Ozzy Osbourne among the honorees in the Performers category as “artists who have created music whose originality, impact, and influence has changed the course of rock & roll”. The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony is set for Saturday, October 19 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. The 2024 ceremony will once again stream live on Disney+ with a special airing on ABC at a later date and available on Hulu the next day.

In a statement on social media, Frampton said, “This is something I never expected. I am overwhelmed that I will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, especially alongside so many incredible artists who have gone before me. I can’t thank everyone enough for voting for me. You are the best. Somebody pinch me please!!”

Osbourne thanked the Rock Hall voters and fans before saying, “My solo career, has been a much larger part of my overall music career as a whole, so this feels more special. Not bad for a guy who was fired from his last band.”

Of the class of 2024, John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said, “Rock & Roll is an ever-evolving amalgam of sounds that impacts culture and moves generations. This diverse group of inductees each broke down musical barriers and influenced countless artists that followed in their footsteps.”
