New Organisation For Tetra Media Studio Following The Departures Of Jean-Francois Boyer And Sebastien Borivent

September 2, 2024 — ITV Studios today announces a new single management structure for Tetra Media Studio and ITV Studios France. Thierry Lachkar, CEO of ITV Studios France, and Céline Roux, COO ITV Studios France, are expanding their responsibilities to become President and COO of Tetra Media Studio respectively. The reorganisation reflects ITV Studios’ commitment to strengthening its presence in the French market through an ambitious new strategy.

Thierry Lachkar and Céline Roux will oversee all Tetra Media Studio activities. Under their leadership, Tetra Media Studio will continue to develop and create quality projects for leading partners such as TF1, Prime Video, Netflix, M6, France Télévisions, Canal+ and Arte.

Tetra Media Studio has announced an ambitious line-up of upcoming productions, including Anaon for Prime Video and France Télévisions (Antoine Szymalka and Alexandre Boyer for Tetra Media Fiction), 37 Secondes for Arte (Saga Blanchard for Colette Productions), Factice for 13ème Rue and Universal+ (Clothilde Jamin for Good Cop) and Paris Police 1910 for Canal+ (Emmanual Daucé for Tetra Media Fiction).

Jean-François Boyer and Sébastien Borivent resigned as Chairman and CEO in July 2024. Under Jean-François Boyer’s 20 years of leadership, Tetra Media Studio has enjoyed remarkable growth, becoming a major player in fiction production in France. Sébastien Borivent, will remain in post until the end of 2024 to ensure a smooth transition period.

h2>Biographies:

Thierry Lachkar began his career as head of acquisitions at Endemol France in 1999, before becoming a key figure in the French audiovisual industry. In 2009, he founded Shine France, where he produced such iconic programs as MasterChef, Baby Boom, The Voice, The Voice Kids, Prodiges…Thierry went on to create the fiction subsidiary Shine France Films, which produced the critically acclaimed series The Tunnel (Canal+) and the series Malaterra (France 2). Thierry Lachkar then founded the French independent production company Deeply Superficial. Since 2021, Thierry Lachkar has been President of ITV Studios France, where he continues to drive growth and innovation.

Céline Roux began her career in broadcasting in 2001 with the TF1 Group. She then held several positions of responsibility in production subsidiaries, becoming producer of fiction series such as Crossing Lines (seasons 1 and 2) as well as animation series such as Les Mini Ninjas (seasons 1 and 2) and Kikoumba (season 1). In 2016, she joined TF1 as Deputy Director of Acquisitions for French Fiction. In 2018, she was appointed General Secretary of CAPA (Newen Studios) before joining Newen France in 2021 as COO. Céline Roux also produced the documentary Animal, presented in the official selection of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and nominated at the César Awards in the “Best Documentary Film” category. In September 2022, she became Managing Director of ITV Studios France.
