Netflix’s “Squid Game: The Experience” Opens in Seoul This February

SEOUL, South Korea — Netflix, together with Kingsmen Creatives Ltd. (“Kingsmen”), leading creator of experiences. brings to life the iconic themes of Squid Game, an Emmy-winning series that gripped global audiences and became a cultural phenomenon. On February 28, Squid Game: The Experience will open in Seoul’s Seongsu district to give fans an immersive experience of the thrilling scenes and various games featured in Squid Game.

Squid Game: The Experience is an immersive space where Squid Game, the most popular Netflix series ever, can be experienced offline. It is a novel cultural space that offers not only diverse games but also food, photo zones, and merch. Beginning with New York and Madrid last October and Sydney last December, Squid Game: The Experience has been praised for its in-depth experiences of the Squid Game themes as well as aspects of Korean culture. The New York City venue, in particular, has been sold out for eight weeks straight.

Squid Game: The Experience finally comes home to Seoul with the release of Season 2 and opens its doors on February 28th in Seoul’s Seongsu district known as a hub of cultural and lifestyle trends. From the moment fans enter, they can immerse themselves in the Squid Game universe by scanning their faces to register as a player and enter a dormitory where they are briefed on the games. For the next 90 minutes or so, they compete to be the final winner in six rounds of games including Marbles; Treasure Hunt; Red Light, Green Light, and Tug of War.

There’s also plenty to enjoy before and after playing these games. Fans can find delightful food and beverages, photo zones against iconic backdrops, Squid Game merch, and unique experiences such as Young-hee’s playground.

The Squid Game: The Experience opens from 10 AM to 10 PM Monday through Thursday. On Friday, Saturday, and public holidays, it will open from 10 AM to Midnight. Admission tickets are available at 55,000 won per person at the door, with a 10% discount for online purchases. Online ticket sales begin on January 13th at 8AM(KST), and a 30% early-bird discount of 38,500 won is in effect until January 17th.
