Netflix Top 10 Week of Nov. 20: "Leo" and "Squid Game: The Challenge" Debut at #1

Leo, the new animated film from star, co-writer and producer Adam Sandler, debuted at the top of the English Films List. It racked up 34.6M views in its first six days, making it the most viewed title this week and the biggest debut for a Netflix animated film. The film, which is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes and has a 94% audience score, and its lovable lead character also made a memorable debut at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. There was nothing but green lights for the launch of the “impossible to stop watching” reality competition series Squid Game: The Challenge, which debuted atop the English TV List with 20.1M views. Fans wanted even more Squid Game, sending our Most Popular Non-English TV series of all time back to the Non-English list at #6 with 1.6M views.

David Fincher’s The Killer kept on target in its third week on the English Films List, coming in at #3 with 8.8M views. Elsewhere, Christmas came early with Best.Christmas.Ever! landing in second place (13.3M views), The Christmas Chronicles in seventh (3.4M views) and Falling for Christmas in tenth (2.7M views).

Part 1 of the sixth and final season of The Crown ruled its way into the second spot on the English TV List with 8.8M views. The final episodes will premiere on December 14. Shawn Levy’s limited series All The Light We Cannot See spent its fourth week on the list, coming in at #4 with 3.3M views. New list entrants included critically acclaimed anime series Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, which landed in seventh place (2M views), and the stand-up special Mike Birbiglia: The Old Man and the Pool, which came in tenth (1.6M views).

Limited series A Nearly Normal Family (Sweden) claimed the #1 spot on the Non-English TV List in its debut week with 6.4M views. Romantic comedy My Demon took fourth place in its first week on the list with 3M views. German limited series Dear Child moved up to the ninth spot on the Most Popular Non-English TV List.

The Turkish romance Last Call for Istanbul took first place on the the Non-English Films List with 10.7M views in its debut week. Also making their list debuts were the documentary Ilary Blasi: The One and Only (Italy) at #6 (1.9M views), the drama Elena Knows (Argentina) at #9 (1.6M views) and sports drama The Queenstown Kings (South Africa) at #10 (1.6M views).
