Outperforms ABC for Five Straight Weeks in Key A25-54 Demo

November 26, 2024 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker (MTP) was the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key demo this past Sunday, November 24, according to Nielsen panel data. This marks the second consecutive key A25-54 demo weekly win for MTP. MTP is ranked #1 for the 2024-2025 broadcast season among viewers aged 25-54.

#1 in the Key Demo This Past Sunday 

MTP was #1 in the demo most valued by news advertisers, averaging 451,000 viewers in A25-54 and outperforming ABC’s This Week by +71,000 (+19%) and CBS’s Face the Nation by +4,000 (+1%).

This is the second consecutive key A24-54 demo weekly win for MTP and the fifth consecutive week in which MTP has outperformed ABC among key A25-54 demo viewers.

Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Missouri) and Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-California). It averaged 2.120 million total viewers.

Audiences Watch Hundreds of Thousands of Hours Across Digital Platforms

MTP has maintained its digital dominance in the Sunday public affairs space, with MTP recording 1.2 million video views across digital platforms last week. In addition, viewers consumed over 143,000 hours of content.

Wins Total Viewers for November in Washington, D.C.

MTP ranked #1 in total viewers for the month in the Washington, D.C. market. MTP has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
