January 7, 2025 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key demo this past Sunday, January 5, according to Nielsen.
Meet the Press averaged 487,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +86,000 (+21%) and CBS by +28,000 (+6%). Meet the Press was retitled this past Sunday due to Premier League live coverage.
The Welker-led program ranks #1 for the current broadcast season among key A25-54 demo viewers. Meet the Press is the only program up versus the same point last season.
Meet the Press continues to lead in digital viewership for Sunday public affairs programs, recording 1.1 million video views across digital platforms last week. In addition, viewers consumed over 265,000 hours of content.
Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).
