Mayor of Kingstown Renewed for a Fourth Season

Published: December 18, 2024 — Paramount+ today announced that the acclaimed drama series Mayor of Kingstown will return for a fourth season.

Starring Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner, Mayor of Kingstown is co-created by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon and is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions exclusively for Paramount+.

While in-season, Mayor of Kingstown reached 8.8 million global households, ranking as the #1 series on the platform during its season three-run. In the third season, a series of explosions rocked Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mob set up shop in the city, and a drug war raged inside and outside prison walls.

The pressure was on Mike McLusky (Jeremy Renner) to end the war but things got complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatened to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep the peace among all factions.

The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Hugh Dillon, Jeremy Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson, Christoph Schrewe, Wendy Riss Gatsiounis, Evan Perazzo and Keith Cox. Erickson also serves as showrunner and writer for the series.

Seasons 1 through 3 of Mayor of Kingstown are available to binge exclusively on Paramount+. Mayor of Kingstown is part of Sheridan’s growing slate on Paramount+, which includes Landman, 1923, Lioness, Tulsa King, 1883 and Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
