Rip Off Britain will be returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer from Monday, 6 January 2025

Louise Minchin will join Gloria Hunniford and Julia Somerville and the rest of the Rip Off Britain team to tackle the most pressing consumer issues hitting audiences across the UK. Returning to screens on Monday, 6 January 2025.

With 15 episodes over three weeks, Rip off Britain will continue to bring audiences all the information they need to keep their money safely in their pocket – exposing rip-offs and scams, and providing expert advice.

The new series will showcase weekly sun-soaked ‘Holiday’ specials, where the focus is making sure holidaymakers can enjoy their well-earned breaks.

Published: December 20, 2024 — Audiences will see the ladies highlight and expose the latest consumer issues sweeping the nation, with highlights including Louise experimenting with eggs and a two metre-high fence… in an attempt to find out why so many parcels are getting damaged.

She will also hear from travellers caught up in the floods in Dubai in April 2024, who’ve been left thousands of pounds out of pocket, and say a leading global airline should have done much more to help them.

The team also go undercover to expose high pressure sales tactics by a domestic heating company – and hear from customers who ended up with rocketing energy bills.
