Why Love Island and why now?
All my friends are in relationships, settled down with babies and I’m going to end up that aunt that rocks up at family parties and they say ‘she’s still not met someone, she’s still going to Ibiza having a midlife crisis.’ I just want to meet somebody and to be able to do all of that stuff too.
What do you think you’ll bring to the Villa?
I think I will bring fun and honesty, maybe a bit too much honesty. And definitely a bit of sass, I’m a sassy girl.
What makes you a catch?
I’d say my personality. I’m quite bubbly and outgoing and I think I can make most people feel quite comfortable and that’s a nice thing to have in this day and age – to put people at ease and build a relationship that way.
If there was one thing you’d want your new fellow Islanders to know about you, what would it be?
I like to have my own way. It’s sometimes easier just to say yes to me and give me what I want. If I need to go to have a shower first then let me go first. I’m an only child so I’m used to getting my own way which isn’t always a good thing.
Why would you say you’re single?
I think I’m single because I don’t underestimate the fact that I’m hard work. I know what I want and I’m not easily pleased. When you’re a loud, outgoing woman, sometimes it can intimidate
men – men don’t always want that. I think that can sometimes put people off me because I am quite loud and you can hear me before you see me. Some men love that though.
How would friends/family describe you?
I think my friends would describe me as brutally honest. I think it’s a good trait because at least you know where you stand with me. I’m never going to let you leave the room without looking your best -I would want someone to tell me! They would describe me as quite uplifting, if you’re having a bad day then come and see me.
If you had to pick three of the most important things you look for in a partner what would they be?
I would say nice teeth, I love a set of white Turkey teeth but a good set of Turkey teeth. I would say personality traits, you have to be family orientated. I’m so close to my mum and I’d like my future partner to be really close with their family too. You have to be tall, you can’t be shorter than me, I can’t be having to question whether I can wear heels around you and what height of heels I can wear. If you’re vertically challenged, it’s not for me.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
I’m pretty talentless apart from having a good stage presence at karaoke, but I can’t actually sing.
If you had to pick any celebrities to be in the Villa with you, who would they be and why?
Jude Law in The Holiday – wow! In terms of personality wise, someone like Rebel Wilson because she’d just make you laugh the entire time but also can imagine is quite sassy as well. And Leonardo DiCaprio, back in the day when he was in his prime.
