The Global ERG Network has recognized Gannett’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) as a “Top 10 Enterprise-Wide ERGs & Diversity Councils” award winner.
This honor celebrates the accomplishments across multiple ERGs from a single organization. Rankings will be announced at the Diversity Impact Awards ceremony during the 2024 Global ERG Network Conference October 23-25.
This recognition is part of the Global ERG Network’s 2024 Diversity Impact Awards program, which honors organizations for DEI and Workplace Culture and builds on the long legacy of recognizing the impact of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Business Resource Groups (BRGs), and Diversity Councils. The 2024 Diversity Impact Awards are scored using the ERG Strategic Impact Model, which represents the following 7 key areas: Organizational Impact, Talent Management, Culture of Inclusion, Leadership Commitment, Measurement & Accountability, Communication & Education, and ERG Climate.
“Gannett’s ERGs are instrumental to our culture of belonging. We are fortunate to have highly passionate and engaged ERG Leadership Teams who set the tone for fostering and amplifying an enriching experience for our employees,” said LaToya Johnson, Vice President of Inclusion Strategy and Employer Brand. “The work they do is seen, valued, and important, and we are proud to have our ERG communities recognized in this way.”
Gannett’s 12 ERGs provide diverse settings for employees to engage in encouraging moments of celebration, observance, education, awareness and more.
