FOX NEWS CHANNEL TO PRESENT LIVE COVERAGE OF THE VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE ON OCTOBER 7TH

FOX NEWS DIGITAL ENDS 2022 AS THE TOP NEWS BRAND WITH MULTIPLATFORM VIEWS AND MINUTES 

Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum to Co-Anchor Primetime Coverage

FOX News Channel (FNC) will present special live programming surrounding the 2020 vice presidential debate on Wednesday, October 7th between incumbent Vice President Mike Pence and Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Coverage will be available across all of FOX News Media’s platforms, including FOX News Audio and FOX News Digital, as well as streamed abroad on FOX News International.

From 9-11PM/ET, chief political anchor and Special Report’s Bret Baier and The Story’s Martha MacCallum will co-anchor coverage live from Salt Lake City. Throughout the special, the anchors will be joined by a team of commentators for analysis, including FOX News Sunday’s Chris Wallace, senior political analyst Brit Hume, co-host of The Five and The Daily Briefing anchor Dana Perino, as well as co-host of The Five and political analyst Juan Williams. FNC contributors Donna Brazile, Karl Rove and Katie Pavlich will also offer analysis throughout the evening.

Additionally, FNC will offer all FOX affiliates special debate coverage from Salt Lake City anchored by FNC’s Bill Hemmer. Stations will also have the opportunity to livestream Hemmer’s coverage on digital and social platforms without interrupting their regularly scheduled programming.

On Tuesday, October 6th and Wednesday, October 7th, Baier and MacCallum will anchor their respective programs, Special Report (6PM/ET) and The Story (7PM/ET) live from Salt Lake City. Additionally, FNC’s The Daily Briefing, Bill Hemmer Reports and The Five will broadcast from Salt Lake City while all other programs will originate from the network’s Washington, DC and New York bureaus. On Wednesday, Hemmer will co-anchor America’s Newsroom from Salt Lake City. Later that evening, Hannity will be presented live at 11PM/ET, followed by special editions of The Ingraham Angle at 12AM/ET and FOX News @ Night with Shannon Bream at 1AM/ET.

FOX News Radio (FNR) will provide live coverage of the first vice presidential candidates’ debate with an hour-long pre-show beginning at 8PM/ET. Coverage will be led by FNR’s national correspondent Jared Halpern and FNR political analyst Josh Kraushaar and will be made available on the FNC APP (Listen Button) and heard on FNR affiliates nationwide. Following the debate, The FOX News Rundown Podcast will be providing detailed analysis, available at FoxNewsPodcasts.com.  FNR’s nationally-syndicated Brian Kilmeade Show (9AM -12PM/ET), FOX Across America with Jimmy Failla (12PM -3PM/ET) and Guy Benson Show (3PM -6PM/ET) will be providing live reaction and analysis following the debate. Additionally, FOX News Headlines 24/7 will continue its Democracy 2020 updates surrounding debate coverage every 15 minutes on SiriusXM Channel 115.
