FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Jay Wallace Vice President of News and Senior Executive Producer of News and Politics, announced Michael Clemente, Senior Vice President of News Editorial.
In making the announcement, Clemente said, “Jay has proven himself to be a talented producer and respected leader within FNC. His consistent performance and experience will continue to be a valued asset to the network.”
As Vice President of News, Wallace will assist in overseeing the strategic planning and managing of the news division. In his position as Senior Executive Producer of News and Politics, he will oversee special political programming in addition to being responsible for the daily production of all news shows and breaking news coverage.
Most recently, Wallace served as Vice President of News Editorial Product, a position he had held since June of 2008. Having worked at FNC since its launch in 1996 when he began as a tape coordinator, Wallace has risen through the ranks in a number of positions including: NY Bureau Chief, Producer and Executive Producer of the FOX Report with Shepard Smith, and Executive Producer of News.
