Executive Producers Confirmed For Seasons 2 & 3 Of Netflix's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'

Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani to Take Over Leadership Duties

4 April 2024 – Christine Boylan (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Poker Face) and Jabbar Raisani (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Stranger Things) will take over leadership duties as Executive Producers for Season 2 & 3.

Boylan previously served as a co-executive producer and writer on Season 1 of the series while Raisani served as Executive Producer, Director and a VFX Supervisor for Season 1 of the series.

Albert Kim is passing along leadership duties to Christine and Jabbar and will continue to serve as an Executive Producer on Seasons 2 and 3.

Fans around the world celebrated Avatar: The Last Airbender with “bending” memes and entering the “Avatar state”, on March 13, Netflix announced it has renewed the global smash hit and cultural phenomenon for a culminating two-season renewal.

The live-action reimagining of the beloved animated series will return with a second and third season to conclude the epic story as the four nations unite – Water. Earth. Fire. Air. – to bring The Legend of Aang to its proper conclusion.
