Exclusive Content for Post Subscribers Now Available On Apple Podcasts

The Washington Post today announced the ability to connect a Washington Post subscription with Apple Podcasts, offering Post subscribers exclusive content and other premium audio benefits.

“Our audience loves audio, so we are excited to bring even more audio perks directly to our subscribers,” said Renita Jablonski, director of audio at The Washington Post. “Now subscribers to The Washington Post can listen to our original podcasts ad-free. We also look forward to offering listeners exclusive series and other premium audio benefits on Apple Podcasts.”

Subscribers will have early access to The Post’s new limited series, “The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop.” It’s hosted by Martine Powers, the award-winning co-host of “Post Reports,” and is the publication’s first international investigative podcast. The series examines a 40-year-old Cold War mystery on the Caribbean island of Grenada with new reporting on the involvement of the U.S. After the first two episodes launch on Oct. 23, the remaining episodes will be available early each week to Post subscribers on Apple Podcasts.

The Post’s audio portfolio includes immersive storytelling that illuminates our complex world and narrated articles that allow audiences to choose and explore stories on the go. This new feature also offers access to The Post’s extensive audio library, with shows like “Broken Doors,” “Presidential” and “Field Trip” with new audio subscriber benefits.
