Dateline to Premiere Season Three of Award-Winning Podcast Dateline: Missing in America July 16

Featuring Original Reporting from ‘Dateline NBC’ Correspondent Josh Mankiewicz, the Series Investigates Six Mysterious Disappearances

July 9, 2024 — Dateline NBC will debut the third season of its award-winning podcast, Dateline: Missing in America, on Tuesday, July 16. This season features original reporting from correspondent Josh Mankiewicz on perplexing missing person cases brought to Dateline‘s attention by the newsmagazine’s social media followers. Each episode focuses on one person’s story, as told by those left behind, and provides listeners with an opportunity to share information that could help solve the case.

The first episode will be available for download and streaming on any podcast platform on July 16, with the second episode airing July 18. Subsequent episodes will premiere twice a week over the following two weeks. Listeners can subscribe toDateline Premium on Apple Podcasts and Spotify for ad-free listening, bonus content, and early access to episodes.

The podcast series extends Dateline’s digital seriesDateline: Missing in America, which has reported on hundreds of disappearances in the decade since its launch.

Mankiewicz and fellow Dateline correspondent Andrea Canning will also be atSCAD TVfest: True Crime in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, July 12 to preview the podcast, as well as to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the compelling mysteries, powerful reporting, and in-depth investigations that drive the award-winning broadcast, podcast, syndication, and streaming brand.
