DANAMARIE MCNICHOLL JOINS FOX NEWS CHANNEL AS MIAMI CORRESPONDENT

FOX NEWS DIGITAL ENDS 2022 AS THE TOP NEWS BRAND WITH MULTIPLATFORM VIEWS AND MINUTES 

NEW YORK – OCTOBER 23, 2023 – FOX News Channel (FNC) has signed Danamarie McNicholl as a Miami based correspondent. She will begin her role on November 6.

An Emmy-award winning journalist, McNicholl has served as a reporter for KFMB-TV (CBS) in San Diego, CA where she was born and raised. During her two-year tenure there, she covered the city’s breaking news stories, including being at the scene of an F-18 military jet crash near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.

Previously, McNicholl served as a reporter and anchor for KREM-TV (CBS) in Spokane, WA for four years. She started there as a general assignment news reporter before becoming a morning news anchor. McNicholl began her journalism career as a newsroom intern at San Diego 6 News, XETV. 

A cum laude graduate of Gonzaga University, McNicholl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast and electronic journalism and is currently finishing her master’s degree in criminal justice and cybersecurity at Boston University. She is also a member of The Miss America Organization and was named Miss Washington in 2018.
