“It’s an exciting time for Aquarius Creative—we’re working with some amazing new clients and expanding our roster of top influencers. We’re busier than ever, and it’s fantastic that audiences will continue to join us on this journey. Stay tuned for what’s next!” — Kirsten and Amy

Published: October 15, 2024 — BBC Scotland has greenlit a third series of The Agency: Unfiltered, the hit reality show that pulls back the curtain on the fast-paced and glamorous world of social media influencers. Produced by IWC Media (a Banijay UK company), the show will once again spotlight Lanarkshire-based Aquarius Creative, Scotland’s largest influencer agency, and the lives of its founders, Kirsten and Amy.

Since its launch in February 2023, The Agency: Unfiltered has been a hit with audiences, with Series 1 and 2 reaching a combined total of over 1.2 million streams on BBC iPlayer. Its unfiltered look at the influencer industry has been particularly popular with younger viewers, with 58% of streams coming from the 16-34 age group.

The show’s popularity has also earned it critical recognition, having recently been nominated in the Entertainment category for a BAFTA Scotland Award 2024. The ceremony takes place next month.

In the new series, viewers will continue to follow Kirsten and Amy as they navigate the pressures of running their rapidly growing influencer business. Aquarius Creative have relocated to a new office in Hamilton, seven times the size of their original space, which they will be renting out for photoshoots, podcasts, and TikTok Lives. This series, they will also be launching their new Aquarius Academy, making Series 3 jam-packed with fresh challenges for the girls.

Audiences can expect even more glamour, drama, and behind-the-scenes insights into the world of influencers, with the return of familiar faces alongside the introduction of exciting new talent from across the UK.

Filming for Series 3 is currently underway, and fans can look forward to its launch on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer in 2025. For those who missed out, Series 2 is available to stream now on BBC iPlayer.

Kirsten and Amy say: “We’re thrilled to be back for a third series of The Agency: Unfiltered! The response to the first two series has been incredible, and we can’t wait to share even more of our crazy lives. It’s an exciting time for Aquarius Creative—we’re working with some amazing new clients and expanding our roster of top influencers. We’re busier than ever, and it’s fantastic that audiences will continue to join us on this journey. Stay tuned for what’s next!”

Louise Thornton, BBC Scotland’s Head of Multiplatform Commissioning, commented: “After two hit series, we’re excited to bring The Agency: Unfiltered back for a third run. It’s been fantastic to see the show resonate with younger audiences, and we’re proud of its success. The third instalment will continue to offer that unique behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of Scotland’s top social media stars and we’re looking forward to seeing what Amy and Kirsten have in store this time around.”

Laura Capaldi, Executive Producer for IWC Media says “We are thrilled to have been nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for best entertainment programme and we are beyond delighted to be back filming for Series 3.
