APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE TIAL TALENT GRANT SCHOLARSHIP FOR EMERGING ARTISTS AND PRODUCERS

THERE IS A LIGHT FOUNDATION (TIAL) PARTNERS WITH ICON COLLECTIVE AND LATROIT FOR THE TIAL TALENT GRANT (TTG)

In a groundbreaking collaboration, the innovative record label and foundation There Is A Light (TIAL), world-renowned music production school ICON Collective and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Latroit have joined forces to introduce the TIAL Talent Grant. This initiative is a beacon of opportunity, meticulously designed to nurture and elevate the skills of promising emerging artists and producers in the realm of music production. Applications are open now until February 9 https://www.iconcollective.edu/tialtalentgrant.

For those ready to tap into their full potential and redefine the boundaries of music There Is A Light Foundation in partnership with ICON Collective and Latroit is launching a monumental opportunity with nine full scholarships for ICON Collective’s Online Intro Course, and one $10,000 grant towards ICON Collective’s Full Online Program designed for those who dare to dream loud.

The core mission of this grant is to ignite the creative passions of these artists, guiding them through a comprehensive and proven curriculum that expertly melds artistry, musicality, and cutting-edge technology. At the heart of this venture is Dennis White, known professionally as Latroit. His remarkable achievement in remixing Depeche Mode’s “You Move” led to his triumph at the 2018 Grammy Awards, where he clinched the ‘Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical)’ category. As a crucial aspect of the grant, Dennis White will personally mentor the recipients, offering them an exclusive window into his extensive experience through specialized workshops.

TIAL stands as more than a record label; it’s a non-profit foundation established by artist and philanthropist Arash Homampour, dedicated to discovering, nurturing, and showcasing works from emerging artists. The foundation’s vision perfectly complements the grant’s objectives.

David Alexander, the founder of Icon Collective, articulates the essence of this collaboration: “This initiative is more than just a grant; it’s a doorway to endless possibilities for artists. It aligns seamlessly with Icon Collective’s mission to empower artists to lead creative and successful lifestyles. We are thrilled to partner with TIAL and Latroit in cultivating the next wave of exceptional artists.”

TIAL Talent Grant application guidelines:

Submission Requirements:
Create Your Story: Craft a personal video, no more than 2:00 minutes. This is your stage, your moment. Make it count. Include the following…
1. Fuel Your Passion: Address this – What drives you to create music? Dive deep into your passion and demonstrate the core of your artistic essence. What artists inspire you to create? When was your ‘lightbulb’ moment when you knew you had to pursue a creative lifestyle?
2. Vision Quest: Where do you see your music career in 5 years? Lay out your dreams, your ambitions. Be bold, be clear.
3. Plan B: If the road takes a turn, what’s your backup plan? Show us your resilience, your ability to adapt and conquer.
4. Stand Out: What makes you and your art different? How do you rise above the noise? Highlight your authenticity and the lasting impact of your original approach.
5. Strengths and Challenges: Share your unique strengths and the weaknesses you aim to conquer with this scholarship. Explain how this course will transform your challenges into strengths.
6. Your Musical Essence: Include clips of your most impactful musical moments, in audio or video form. This is your music, your soul – let it resonate.
You have 2:00 minutes. Make every second reverberate with your passion, your story, and your music. This is more than a scholarship; it’s a launchpad for your dreams. Are you ready to make your mark?”

Applications close February 9, 2024.
