Applications are now open for the addictive quiz show that will be coming to BBC One and iPlayer later this year
Published: January 17, 2025 — Following another successful run in 2024, Saturday night family favourite Alan Carr’s Picture Slam will return to BBC One and iPlayer later this year for a third series.
The addictive quiz show sees host Alan Carr test contestants’ knowledge (and speed!) in a number of fast-paced rounds as they try to identify as many pictures as they can to be in the chance of winning the £10,000 jackpot.
Last year’s series averaged 3.2m across its run, peaking at 4.1m, making it the second biggest Entertainment teatime title.
The first series of Alan Carr’s Picture Slam aired in 2023 and was the BBC’s biggest Entertainment launch of the year and the second biggest new Entertainment launch across the market.
Alan Carr says: “I am beyond excited that Picture Slam is back for a series 3. This show is an absolute joy to be part of – irreverent, silly but most importantly fun! And you never know you might even learn something!! Here’s to slamming more pictures!!! Yay!”
