• ABC News’ “The Second Inauguration of Donald J. Trump – An ABC News Special” ranked No. 1 in its 10:00 – 11:00 p.m. hour among the broadcast networks in Total Viewers (1.623 million), Adults 25-54 (314,000) and Adults 18-49 (189,000), based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.

• ABC News outperformed CBS News’ “Inauguration Day” (1.226 million, 220,000 and 140,000, respectively) by 397,000 Total Viewers, 94,000 Adults 25-54 and 49,000 Adults 18-49.

• ABC News beat the final hour of NBC’s “Traitors” (711,000, 185,000 and 146,000, respectively) by 912,000 Total Viewers, 129,000 Adults 25-54 and 43,000 Adults 18-49.

ABC News’ special coverage of the 2025 inauguration of President-elect Donald J. Trump ranked No. 1 among the broadcast networks in Total Viewers (3.758 million) and Adults 25-54 (937,000), based on Live+Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. • ABC News (10:25 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 among the broadcast networks for the second straight inauguration.

• ABC beat the inauguration coverage on CBS (3.437 million, 823,000 and 624,000, respectively, from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) by 321,000 Total Viewers, 114,000 Adults 25-54 and 84,000 Adults 18-49.

• ABC outdelivered the inauguration coverage on NBC (3.444 million and 915,000, respectively, from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) by 314,000 Total Viewers and 22,000 Adults 25-54.

• During the taking of the presidential oath of Donald J. Trump (12:00-1:00 p.m.), ABC (5.211 million) stood as the most-watched broadcast network, outdrawing CBS by 458,000 (4.753 million) and NBC by 360,000 (4.851 million) for the second consecutive inauguration.

• From 6:00-7:00 p.m., during the signing of the executive orders of Donald J. Trump, ABC (5.066 million) also finished as the most-watched broadcast network, leading CBS by 870,000 (4.196 million) and NBC by 433,000 (4.633 million).
