Also Ranks #1 in the Key A25-54 Demo Season-to-Date
January 22, 2025 — Meet the Press with Kristen Welker was the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the key demo this past Sunday, January 19, according to Nielsen.
Meet the Press averaged 473,000 key A25-54 demo viewers, leading ABC by +109,000 (+30%) and CBS by +5,000 (+1%). Meet the Press has outperformed ABC’s This Week for 10 consecutive weeks in the key A25-54 demo for the first time in over four years.
The Welker-led program ranks #1 for the current broadcast season among key A25-54 demo viewers. Meet the Press is the only program up versus the same point last season.
Meet the Press also averaged 2.301 million total viewers this past Sunday. Meet the Press has never lost a month in the Washington, D.C. market among total viewers.
Meet the Press continues to lead in digital viewership for Sunday public affairs programs, recording 2.2 million video views across digital platforms last week. In addition, viewers consumed over 383,000 hours of content.
Sunday’s broadcast featured interviews with House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and Martin Luther King III.
