Randy Edelman Opens NEMHOF During A Romantic Weekend Performing In New England

World renowned composer and film score architect RANDY EDELMAN will be opening the illustrious New England Music Hall Of Fame on Saturday February 15, 2025 @ The Vault Performing Arts Center (791 Purchase Street, New Bedford MA) for this year’s induction ceremonies. The festivities begin @ 5:00 PM and patrons are asked to bring a non-perishable item to benefit PACE. The owner & founder, film award winner and wrestler Christopher Annino along with endorsers legendary women’s pro-wrestler Angel Orsini & Drummer Kathy Steahle have announced that two documentaries will be filmed at the event. The NEMHOF was founded by the award-winning filmmaker and Rhode Island native in 2019 and it’s mission is to “Unite, educate, heal, influence, promote and preserve the integrity of New England’s music, and the people who embody it. Randy Edelman is a 2024 inductee himself for his musical contributions.

Randy will also be performing at First Parish (535 Canton Ave. Milton MA) on Valentines Day, Friday February 14, 2025 @ 8:00 PM. He will be sharing his career journey through his romantic ballads, film and television scores, popular hits and behind the scene stories. Earlier that day Randy will be speaking at Berklee College of Music senior class as an honored guest.

On Sunday February 16, 2025 Randy will be performing at the award winning, intimate venue The Lilypad (1353 Cambridge, MA – 617-955-7729) from 3:30-6:00 PM. He will be performing all of his hits and some new music from his new album “Waltzing On A High Wire.”

Randy is responsible for creating the scores to over 100 films and TV soundtracks. Included in those are My Cousin Vinny, Last of the Mohicans, Ghostbusters ll, The Bruce Lee Story, Beethoven, Billy Madison, Twins, Kindergarten Cop, While You Were Sleeping, XXX, The Mask, the hit series MacGyver, and a parade of others. He has also written some of the most popular hit songs of this century which were covered by the likes of Barry Manilow, Patti LaBelle, Nelly, The Carpenters, Olivia, Newton-John, Dionne Warwick, Willie Nelson, and more including “A Weekend In New England”, “Isn’t It A Shame”, “My Place”, “You”, and an unlimited array of others. The is a multi-award winning composer has even written music for the Olympics and NASA as well and has performed in arenas all over the globe as a singer, pianist and orchestra conductor.

His most recent accomplishments include his flawless debut at Carnegie Hall this past December, the recent release of the film and soundtrack album of “The Beast Inside”, an exorcism, themed thriller, the release of “Heartstrings” a Nashville saga directed by Ate De Jong, the unveiling of his latest double vinyl album “Waltzing On A High Wire”, and a featured article in Variety Magazine. He is currently writing the score to filmmaker Josh Webber’s “Love Me Dead” starring Dove Cameron.
