Event kicks off this Friday at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT on Prime Video
NEW YORK — November 7, 2024 — Prime Video and ONE Championship return to the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, for ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug. The event is headlined by three World Title fights and will be available exclusively to Prime members in the U.S. and Canada, beginning at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT this Friday, November 8. Prime members enjoy savings, convenience, and entertainment, all in a single membership.
In the main event, undefeated three-division ONE MMA World Champion Anatoly Malykhin of Russia defends his Heavyweight MMA World Title against Senegalese powerhouse “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane. Malykhin made history in March by becoming the first athlete in a global combat sports promotion to hold three MMA World Titles at the same time (Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight), while “Reug Reug” comes into this contest riding an impressive three-fight winning streak in the heavyweight division.
In the co-main event, longtime ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon of Thailand returns home to defend his belt against British bruiser Jacob Smith in a rematch of their thrilling back-and-forth scrap in November 2022.
The excitement doesn’t end there, as Filipino-American sensation Jackie Buntan goes head-to-head with French-Algerian striking superstar Anissa Meksen for the inaugural ONE Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Title.
ONE 169 will also feature a trio of can’t-miss mixed martial arts matchups, including the return of reigning ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion Kade Ruotolo of the United States, who is looking for his second straight MMA victory against Pakistani veteran Ahmed Mujtaba. In addition, former ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion and current No. 1 ranked contender Adriano Moraes of Brazil takes on No. 3 ranked contender Danny Kingad of the Philippines in a pivotal divisional rematch, and grappling legend Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida of Brazil faces Iranian icon Amir Aliakbari in a high-stakes heavyweight MMA clash.
