Mind Tuning Media Presents Circle of Brothers 2nd Annual Hip Hop Meets Jazz & R&B

King Melvin Brown is a true Renaissance Man and the founder of “Mind Tuning Media”.

Join him on Sunday September 22, 2024 as he presents the non-profit CIRCLE OF BROTHERS 2nd ANNUAL HIP HOP MEETS JAZZ & R&B 6:00-10:00 PM located @ the historic Actors Temple 339 West 47th street NYC. The event will feature performing live celebrated Hip Hop/Rapper “SPECIAL” headlining. Other guests include: James Branch (former lead singer of Delfonics), jazz vocalist Annette St. John, jazz trio Michael Young’s Soul Guard, and James Chappell lll& Sinis.

The event will offer autographed book choice (“After Dark”, “Tony Vera’s Qualifying Men”, “Pastor Stephanie Jefferson’s My Heart Out For A Walk”, or “Anita Jones’ Become A Prize-Winning Freestyle Ice-Skater.” )There will be appetizers and refreshments, raffles, and photo ops. You can also join the King on Thursday September 12, 2024 at 7:30 PM @ the Angelika Film Center @ 18 W Houston St. NYC for the screening of “Students Are Heroes: A Sickle Cell Warrior’s Story” produced by “Music Brings Life” and dedicated to raise awareness of the shortage of blood donations for victims facing sickle cell disease, by Afro-American, Latino, and Caribbean donors. The King stars in the film as Principal Johnson of the school.

The King is also a singer/songwriter, an actor, comedian, the publisher of a magazine About Men and is a writer for Global.biz. He also hosts his own radio show each week on WPAT at 9:30 AM and is the founder and guru minister of the “Mind Tuning Philosophy.” Raised in the foster care system, he brings people hope and inspiration. Hoping at its best helps release present ailments and gives us strength to face the future. When we need it, sometimes it’s the hardest thing to find, but it serves as a catalyst for great possibilities. Hope is the lifeblood of humanity.
