After two outstanding hurling semi-finals last weekend, it’s the turn of football to take centre stage at Croke Park for the GAA All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-finals. BBC Sport NI will have live coverage of both games on BBC iPlayer, BBC Two Northern Ireland and on the BBC Sport NI website with the possibility of an all-Ulster final on 28 July.
Armagh, beaten Ulster finalists, face Kerry who knocked out Derry in the quarter finals in the first semi-final on Saturday (13 July). Sarah Mulkerrins presents the live action starting at 5pm for the 5.30pm throw-in and is joined in studio by Armagh’s Oisín McConville, an All-Ireland winner with the Orchard county in 2002, All-Ireland winning manager Mickey Harte and Michael Murphy. Mark Sidebottom reports from pitch-side and commentary comes from Thomas Niblock alongside Dublin All Star Philly McMahon.
On Sunday (14 July), Ulster and Connacht champions Donegal and Galway battle it out for a place in the decider in two weeks’ time. Galway knocked out holders Dublin by a point in their quarter-final while Donegal are back in an All-Ireland semi-final for the first time in 10 years overcoming Louth in the last round. Sarah presents the action from 3.40pm for the 4pm throw-in and is joined again by Donegal’s All-Ireland winning captain Michael Murphy, All Star Oisín McConville and Mickey Harte.
Mark Sidebottom will have all the latest news from pitch-side while Thomas Niblock and Philly McMahon are in the commentary box.
