Things We Love - Meet a pair of County Antrim pigeons who are obsessed with The Traitors

A pair of pigeons from County Antrim who are obsessed with The Traitors are the star of the fifth film released as part of our Things We Love campaign, which provide an entertaining insight to the UK’s most loved BBC content.

In the series of heart-warming animated films real, BBC audience member’s voices and unscripted conversations are matched with charming stop-motion clay characters, created by independent studio, Aardman.

The dialogue in the films is the audience members’ own descriptions of things they love on the BBC.

The four 30 second films previously launched include:

• A family of Casualty, BBC News and Sport mad hamsters from Port Talbot in Wales;

• A family of foxes from Birmingham who can’t get enough MasterChef;

• A father and son canine duo from Paisley near Glasgow who want to Race Across The World together;

• A dog in a handbag from Sheffield who loves Match of The Day.

Adam Smyth, Director of NI says: “It’s great to see Northern Ireland viewers represented in these films! These films show that the universal service the BBC offers reaches every part of the UK – and that everyone has their own favourites.”

Watch the collection of films via the link below – and find out how they were made in a special behind the scenes film.

Each film represents a different part of the UK and demonstrates the value of the BBC to real audiences, the final film will be released later this Spring.

The families in the films were found through the BBC’s audience engagement programme, which interviews hundreds of people across the UK every year on their views about the BBC to ensure audiences are at the heart of everything we do.
