Amazon Freevee Thriller "Boat Story" to Exclusively Premiere March 12 in the U.S

Amazon Freevee has announced the new thriller series Boat Story will exclusively premiere on March 12 in the U.S and April 18 in Germany. All six episodes will be available upon premiere. The official trailer and first look images have also been released.

Boat Story follows two strangers, Daisy Haggard (Back to Life, Breeders) and Paterson Joseph (Wonka, Timeless) as Janet and Samuel, who can’t believe their luck when they stumble upon a shipwrecked boat full of cocaine. With each of them desperate for a fresh start, they agree to sell the drugs and split the cash. But on their tail are the police, masked hit men, and a sharp-suited gangster known only as “The Tailor.” When two ordinary people are pushed to the very edge, can they trust each other and get away with their lives and money?

Alongside Haggard and Joseph, the series ensemble includes Tcheky Karyo (The Missing, Baptiste), BAFTA-winner Joanna Scanlan (After Love, Notes on A Scandal), Craig Fairbrass (One Piece, Villain and Muscle), Phil Daniels (House of the Dragon, Quadrophenia) and Ethan Lawrence (Bad Education).

The series is written by Harry and Jack Williams (The Missing, Baptiste, The Tourist), who alongside Christopher Aird (Baptiste, Liar, The Tourist), Sarah Hammond (Back to Life, Fleabag, The Tourist) and Daniel Walker (The Tourist) serve as executive producers for Two Brothers Pictures, with Tommy Bulfin and Nawfal Faizullah as executive producers for the BBC. Boat Story is produced by award-winning All3Media production company, Two Brothers Pictures (The Tourist, The Missing, Fleabag) in association with All3 Media International.

Boat Story is available to stream in the UK on BBC One. Amazon Freevee is available to stream on Prime Video, as an app on Fire TV, and on many third-party apps.
