The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards have been announced with a host of BMG artists and songwriters scoring multiple nominations including Kylie Minogue, Lainey Wilson, and Victoria Monet, with Jelly Roll leading the field with a total of eight nominations. The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 1 on FOX.
Genre blurring, breakout star Jelly Roll received nominations for Artist of the Year, Country Artist of the Year, and Rock Artist of the Year; as well as Best New Artist (Pop), Best New Artist (Country), and Best New Artist (Alt and Rock); Rock Song of the Year for ‘Need A Favor’ and a nomination in the new category for Best Onscreen for ‘Save Me’.
BBR Music Group’s award-winning artists Jason Aldean and Lainey Wilson both earned nominations for Country Artist of the Year, with Wilson’s ‘Heart Like A Truck’ receiving a nomination for Country Song of the Year, and Parmalee nominated for Duo/Group of the Year.
Grammy-nominated BMG songwriter Victoria Monet landed two nominations including Best New Artist (R&B) and R&B Song of the Year for ‘On My Mama’.
Two BMG recording artists earned Dance Song of the Year nominations including Kylie Minogue for ‘Padam Padam’ and Rita Ora for ‘Praising You’. Minogue also landed a nomination for Dance Artist of the Year.
‘Ella Baila Sola’, the historic Regional Mexican chart-topping song, co-written by BMG’s publishing partner and DEL Records songwriter Pedro Tovar, is nominated for Regional Mexican Song of the Year.
Nominations also included the ‘socially voted categories’ where fan voting will determine the winners by logging on to iHeartRadio.com/awards through March 25 to cast their votes.
Nominees include Bebe Rexha’s ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ for Best Music Video, Louis Tomlinson’s ‘All of Those Voices’ for Favorite Onscreen, “Louies” for Best Fan Army and Joshua Halling for Favorite Tour Photographer.
