Beckham – the new limited docuseries following global soccer superstar David Beckham – scored big, debuting atop the English TV List with 12.4M views. Season 4 of the coming-of-age series Sex Education (UK) stayed strong at #2 (6.6M views) while Season 5 of Love Is Blind came in at #3 (3.7M views). ONE PIECE spent its sixth week on the list, this time grabbing the #4 spot (2.5M views), and Season 5 of Virgin River logged its fifth week on the list at #6 (2M views). Other docuseries making an appearance this week included Season 1 of UFO thriller Encounters at #5 (2M views), and true crime stories Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal Season 2 at #8 (1.8M views) and Who Killed Jill Dando? (UK) at #9 (1.6M views). Animated series Castlevania: Nocturne returned to the list at #7 (1.8M views) and The Great British Baking Show (UK) closed out the list debuting at #10 (1.6M views).
All three parts of the crime heist series Lupin (France) snuck onto the Non-English TV List. Part 3 nabbed the top spot, debuting at #1 with 11.6M views. Parts 1 and 2, which are mainstays on the Most Popular Non-English TV List, grabbed #2 (3.5M views) and #4 (2.7M views) on the weekly list, respectively. Psycho-thriller limited series Dear Child (Germany) spent its fifth week on the list at #3 (3M views). Elsewhere on the list, Korea continued to dominate with the new comedy Strong Girl Nam-soon debuting at #5 (1.6M views), reality competition series The Devil’s Plan coming in at #6 (1.5M views), romantic comedy Destined with You landing at #7 (1.5M views) and drama Song of the Bandits taking the #9 spot (1M views). Rounding out the list were limited thriller series Burning Body (Spain) at #8 (1.3M views) and limited drama series Thursday’s Widows (Mexico) at #10 (1M views).
The crime thriller Reptile, starring Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake and Alicia Silverstone, continued to slither past the competition and claimed the top spot on the English Films List for the second week in a row with 19.9M views. Fair Play, the new critically-acclaimed relationship thriller from writer/director Chloe Domont and starring Phoebe Dyvenor and Alden Ehrenreich, has become a hot conversation starter debuting at #2 (12.6M views). Australian rom-com Love Is in the Air came in at #3 (7.2M views) while family action comedy Spy Kids: Armageddon spent its third week on the list, nabbing the #7 slot (4.3M views) and Nigerian thriller The Black Book closed out the list, coming in at #10 (3.7M views).
The dystopian survival thriller Nowhere (Spain) found itself on top of the Non-English Films List for the second week in a row with 29.9M views, making it the most-viewed title of the week. The film has already entered the Most Popular Non-English Films List at #8 with 53.7M views to date. New entrants on the weekly list included action thriller Ballerina (Korea) at #3 (10.1M views), thriller Khufiya (India) at #5 (5M views), comedy OMG 2 (India) at #7 (2.4M views) and comedy A Deadly Invitation (Mexico) at #10 (1.7M views). Returning favorites rounded out the list with romantic drama Forgotten Love (Poland) claiming #2 (10.5M views), action-adventure Overhaul (Brazil) coming in at #4 (5M views), true crime documentary Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee and Jessica Wongso (Indonesia) ranking at #6 (2.7M views), crime drama Street Flow 2 (France) taking the #8 spot (2.1M views) and thriller Jaane Jaan (India) coming in at #9 (1.9M views).
