LOS ANGELES – With Major League Baseball’s biggest stage set, FOX Sports reveals the starters for coverage of the American League Division Series presented by Booking.com (ALDS), American League Championship Series (ALCS) presented by loanDepot and the 119th World Series presented by Capital One.
The announcement was made by Brad Zager, President of Production & Operations, Executive Producer.
FOX MLB POSTSEASON STUDIO
Generational names from across the sport – first-ballot Hall of Famers Derek Jeter and David Ortiz and World Series champion Alex Rodriguez – flank FOX Sports’ Emmy Award-winning FOX MLB studio desk, anchored by veteran host Kevin Burkhardt. World Series champion Dontrelle Willis, inducted into the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum Hall of Fame in September, also joins the team throughout the ALDS. Altogether, the FOX MLB studio analysts bring an unprecedented total of 40 All-Star Game appearances, 38 Postseason appearances and 10 World Series championships to the network’s coverage.
Acclaimed reporters Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci are set to contribute, in addition to highlighted features from the renowned Tom Rinaldi.
Postseason pregame and postgame shows open from the Los Angeles studio for the ALDS before shifting to on-site locations for the ALCS and World Series.
FOX MLB GAME COVERAGE
FOX Sports begins its Postseason coverage Saturday, Oct. 7 at 1:00 PM ET on FS1, FOX Deportes and the FOX Sports app as the Texas Rangers face the Baltimore Orioles. The network’s lead booth of Joe Davis and first-ballot Hall of Famer John Smoltz take the call from Oriole Park at Camden Yards as Rosenthal reports from the field.
ALDS coverage continues at 4:30 PM ET on FS1, FOX Deportes and the FOX Sports app when the Minnesota Twins head to Houston to battle the Astros. On the heels of retirement, World Series champion and beloved St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright reunites in the booth with play-by-play announcer Adam Amin and World Series champion AJ Pierzynski. Verducci joins the crew at Minute Maid Park.

All FOX MLB Postseason games will stream on the FOX Sports app, which provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content through iOS and Android devices.
