USA TODAY is launching “States of America,” a flagship, documentary style news and politics show distributed on its over-the-top video channels tomorrow.
The original series will amplify original journalism, investigations, enterprise reporting, and expert commentary across Gannett | USA TODAY Network’s local newsrooms in 45 U.S. states with USA TODAY and local journalists providing context and backstories leveraging their deep connections to these local communities.
Through immersive storytelling, the program addresses key issues including abortion rights, the economy, immigration, intolerance, and America’s political divide while humanizing the shared experiences of the people and communities impacted by them.

Starting on July 9 at 9 p.m. ET, a new episode of “States of America” will air once a month through November. Each 30-minute episode will air on USA TODAY’s streaming TV and YouTube channels. Clips will also be available across USA TODAY platforms and social channels.
