USA TODAY and Adweek will be co-hosting a virtual event, The Big Game Summit, that will feature industry thought leaders for a conversation on this year’s Super Bowl ads, the creativity, and the trends ahead of the game.
USA TODAY’s annual Ad Meter program has provided insights around consumer sentiment towards the commercials since 1989. The event held with Adweek, a leading publication covering creativity, advertising, and marketing year-round, will highlight highly-rated commercials as measured by Ad Meter and preview what consumers may expect from brands following an unprecedented year.
Additionally, Coverage of the Super Bowl LV commercials—before, during, and after the Big Game—will have an expanded feel this year, as Ad Meter teams up with Adweek to provide fans with even more expert insight and analysis, as well as creative content that captures the biggest moments from one of the biggest stages.
In a release, Adweek’s Chief Content Officer Lisa Granatstein shared, “Together, the editors of Adweek and USA TODAY will be quite a force to reckon with in terms of Super Bowl ad ratings and analysis.
Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK’s Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Mayur Gupta added: “Each year, there’s always a thrill surrounding the creativity of the Super Bowl commercials, which is why USA TODAY’s Ad Meter has been a long-standing program to measure consumer sentiment. We’re excited to partner with Adweek to bring the creative community together and discuss the brands and talent that engage us every year.”
