Fox News Media Earns “Great Place to Work” Certificate

Fox News Media has earned the designation as a 2020 Great Place to Work-Certified™ Company, announced its CEO Suzanne Scott.

The Certification marks the first time Fox News Media has been awarded the honour in its 24 year existence.

In making the announcement, Ms. Scott said, “We are extraordinarily proud to receive the Great Place to Work-Certified™ designation. This is an extremely special honour and incredibly meaningful for us as it signifies that Fox News Media employees value the inclusive, innovative and collaborative environment we’ve collectively worked hard to cultivate over the last several years.”

Using validated employee feedback gathered with Great Place to Work’s rigorous, data-driven methodology, Certification confirms nearly eight out of 10 employees rate Fox News Media as a great place to work.

The Certification follows an enhanced focus from the organization on fostering a transparent, collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

These efforts have included creating a Diversity and Inclusion Council, modernizing infrastructure and company workspaces, as well as developing several mentoring programs and employee resource groups.

Fox News Media has also enhanced internal communications, adding quarterly company-wide addresses conducted by senior leadership, developed monthly networking events and revamped mandatory harassment and discrimination prevention compliance training.

As a result, employee feedback through the Great Place to Work survey confirmed that over 80% of Fox News Media employees believe that the company gives people a lot of responsibility (85%), access to resources (82%) and encourages work/life balance (86%).
