Fire Fight Australia Peaks at 2.04 Million LIVE Viewers

In one of the biggest concerts Australia has ever seen, Seven’s live broadcast of the marathon Fire Fight Australia relief concert reached 4.7 million viewers nationally and helped raise almost $10 million for bushfire recovery.

An average national audience of 1.53 million Australians tuned in across Seven’s full coverage of the 10-hour spectacular with a national peak of 2+ million viewers.

The event was co-hosted by Sunrise’s Samantha Armytage and David Koch and The Morning Show’s Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur, with the huge list of national and international acts including Queen + Adam Lambert, Alice Cooper, 5SOS, Tina Arena, Guy Sebastian, Grinspoon, Delta Goodrem and Jessica Mauboy helping to raise spirits and funds for those affected by the devastating fires.

Seven’s broadcast of the final two hours (9pm – 11pm) of the concert included an emotional performance from k.d lang and the much-anticipated duet from John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John.

7plus hit another record with its biggest day ever of live streaming (outside of sport events), reaching 7.7 million minutes streamed across the full coverage of Fire Fight Australia.
