MSNBC to Air Live Coverage of January 6th Hearings


MSNBC will provide comprehensive special live coverage across all platforms of the House Select Committee’s investigation on the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.

MSNBC will feature special programming beginning Wednesday, June 8th, spanning coverage across dayside and primetime.

MSNBC anchors and hosts will be joined by top political analysts, key reporters, and subject matter experts to provide in-depth and real time updates on the public hearings.

At 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, host of MSNBC’s All In Chris Hayes will preview the January 6th hearings, explore what happened and ongoing efforts to subvert Democracy in the U.S.

On Thursday, June 9, MSNBC Reports will anchor live from the nation’s capital throughout the day ahead of the first hearing.

Beginning Thursday, June 9 at 7 p.m. ET MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow, Nicolle Wallace and Joy Reid will lead live special coverage of the primetime hearings joined by Chris Hayes, Lawrence O’Donnell and Ari Melber.

Immediately following, Stephanie Ruhle will pick up coverage for a special edition of The 11th Hour.

Beginning Monday, June 13 Morning Joe co-hosts Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist will host special coverage at 6 a.m. ET with in-depth reporting and analysis from top political reporters, to preview the upcoming day of hearings.

NBC News chief Washington correspondent and MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell, NBC News senior Washington correspondent and MSNBC anchor Hallie Jackson and MSNBC anchor Katy Tur will lead special coverage of daytime hearings live from Washington D.C.

Live coverage will continue with MSNBC Reports anchored by José Díaz-Balart and Chris Jansing.

MSNBC chief legal correspondent and The Beat host Ari Melber will join special coverage throughout the hearings to provide the latest analysis and insight.

On Saturday June 11, MSNBC anchor Ali Velshi will kick off special coverage at 8 a.m. ET with a look ahead to the next hearings.

Coverage will continue on Saturday with a special anchored by Alex Witt at 12 p.m. ET.

On Saturday, at 8 p.m. ET anchor Ayman Mohyeldin will host a special edition of Ayman with original reporting from his podcast American Radical.

Peacock to Feature Live Coverage

Mehdi Hasan, Zerlina Maxwell and Katie Phang will provide live wall-to-wall coverage of the January 6th hearings beginning on June 9. Each host will offer in-depth analysis and will be joined by MSNBC host Symone Sanders and NBC News Washington correspondent Yamiche Alcindor. Hasan and Maxwell will report live from Washington, D.C. and Phang will be live from New York.

Plus, Peacock will stream live coverage from MSNBC throughout the hearings.
