Comedians to Host Alternative Election Night Coverage

Canada’s The Comedy Network will be the place to go for election night laughs as hosts take an alternative election view on the Midterms.

In a world where politics has become no laughing matter, The Comedy Network’s late-night hosts have expertly crafted a platform that tackles the volatile partisan climate, and weighs in on U.S. national affairs with passionate points of view, honest reflection, and a spoonful of funny.

With a crucial midterm election approaching and Americans preparing once again to reshape their nation, The Comedy Network marks this moment in history with a special pre-midterm election episode of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee”, Monday Nov. 5 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. The next day, going live on midterm election night is “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah – Democalypse 2018: Let’s Try This Again, America” 11:00 p.m. ET.

The alternative election night marks the eighth live broadcast for “The Daily Show” since Noah became host.

Leading up to election night, The Daily Show covers the Midterm Elections from Florida. With their full roster of correspondents, the show tapes at The Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater, all week until Thursday at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. Guests include: Miami Marlins Co-Owner/CEO, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Former New York Yankees Captain, Derek Jeter (tonight), CNN Political Commentator, Ana Navarro (Wednesday, Oct. 31), and Miami Heat All-Star, Entrepreneur & Philanthropist, Dwyane Wade (Thursday, Nov. 1).

The Daily Show airs Mondays-Thursdays at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee airs Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on The Comedy Network.
