Nick Grimshaw and Annie Macmanus reunite for a new podcast on BBC Sounds

Annie Macmanus and Nick Grimshaw are back together, diving into the music stories that are getting people talking, for their brand new weekly BBC podcast, Sidetracked with Annie and Nick.

Join Annie and Nick each week as they shoot the breeze about the world of music with the help of artists, friends, industry experts and listeners. Sidetracked is all about honest opinions and recollections that get behind the story.

The title has music at its core with the artwork from Studio Moross (Kylie, Spice Girls, Disclosure) and audio imagery from A.K. Paul (Jai Paul, Jessie Ware, Sam Smith, Foals).

The week in music and the week in their lives, Sidetracked with Annie and Nick is the destination for music and pop culture lovers looking for an authentic and hilarious take on the week’s most compelling stories, and getting seriously sidetracked along the way.

Annie Macmanus says: “I’m dead excited to be working with Grim again. He is one of my oldest friends and together with a top BBC production team, I think we’re going to make something really authentic and fun – an essential listen for all fans of music and music culture. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Nick Grimshaw says: “I’m so excited to be able to spend time together discussing the week in music, from the sublime to the ridiculous.”

Lorna Clarke, BBC Director of Music says: “It’s great that Annie and Nick are back in the BBC family with their unique sense of fun and passion for music. I can’t think of a better duo to bring music fans the inside scoop from the entertainment industry and bring together an audience of music and pop culture lovers.”

Sidetracked with Annie and Nick is available weekly on BBC Sounds from 28 September.
