BBC Radio 5 Live’s The Big Green Money Show podcast, hosted by Dragon’s Den’s Deborah Meaden, will return for its second series on Friday 8 July.
Joined by Wake Up To Money’s Felicity Hannah, Deborah will continue to have frank discussions with leaders from top companies about their efforts in tackling climate change, and the challenges involved. Deborah and Felicity will also put tough questions to organisations, including L’Oréal and BEKO, about their sacrifices in reducing environmental impact.
In today’s episode, Deborah and Felicity will investigate the one year-old ‘right to repair’ law, after campaigners criticise it for not giving consumers enough power to fix their own products.
They will also speak to budget appliance maker BEKO about whether manufacturers really want customers repairing their own products, as well as a company that has over 100 million views for its DIY fixing videos.
The podcast will also give listeners insights and tips on a range of topics, including Carbon Offsets, Retrofitting, Insulation and buying responsible products.
Episodes of The Big Green Money Show with Deborah Meaden will be released weekly on BBC Sounds, every Friday for 10 weeks from 8 July.
