Leading independent publisher Prescription Songs celebrates its wide-ranging representation among the 67th Annual GRAMMY® Awards nominations as announced last Friday, November 8.

With her work represented in five categories including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year, bülow leads the roster’s nominations. A Juno Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2019, bülow has learned to trust her gut when it comes to songwriting. This served her well when co-writing Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” the lead single off her Cowboy Carter album, both of which are also nominated for Best Country Song and Album of the Year.

Also being recognized in the Album of the Year category is The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, the debut studio album by Chappell Roan. Prescription Songs’ Nate Campany co-wrote the project’s closing track “Guilty Pleasure.” The album is also up for the Best Pop Vocal Album award.

Prescription Songs is well represented across the Best R&B Album category, having contributed to three of the nominated releases. Chris Brown’s 11:11 (Deluxe) features contributions from the roster’s Malik Ninety Five, Housefly, Mizzy, Seb1Mind, Baerose, Fridayy, and Derelle Rideout. Also being recognized in this category is Coming Home from Usher featuring “Please U” co-written by Anthony Watts and Vaughn Oliver and Revenge from Muni Long featuring “Bessie” co-written by Sean Small.

Artist and songwriter Maggie Rose is celebrating an artist nomination for her solo album No One Gets Out Alive nominated for Best Americana Album. Fellow Prescription Songs writer/producer Jon Santana is also celebrating as he lent his songwriting talents to the album’s track “Under The Sun.”

Malik Ninety Five garners his second nod thanks to “Death Roll,” the track he solo-produced and co-wrote for Doechii’s Alligator Bites Never Heal, nominated for Best Rap Album. Songwriters Chloe George and Micah Premnath are being honored in Best Dance/Electronic Album for their contributions to Zedd’s Telos album. Up for Best Reggae Album is Never Gets Late Here from Jamaican singer Shenseea, songwriting contributions from Soaky Siren, LunchMoney Lewis, Kaine.

Showcasing talents across nearly every genre, DallasK and AC are celebrating their work on Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, the latest studio album by Colombian superstar Shakira among those in the Best Latin Pop Album category. Elsewhere Sean Small is receiving a second acknowledgement for his contributions to star-studded film soundtrack Twisters: The Album, nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media. The multi-genre songwriter/producer co-wrote “Boots Don’t” performed by Shania Twain and BRELAND.
