The Josie Music Award nominated record label Tribeca Records and President John “SohoJohnny” Pasquale announces and welcomes two new artists to their label. Tribeca will also be launching music from some old friends this month as well as SohoJohnny prepares for his trip to Nashville this October to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the highly acclaimed Josie Music Awards at The Grand Ole Opry.
The first is hip hop/ R&B artist Nate Borchert AKA $hredd ABG originally from Atlanta but was raised in a musical family in South Dakota. The 21 year old artists signed his first contract with Sauce Walka in 2021 and recorded music with Lil Baby Field and Honeykomb Brazy. Look for his first song on Tribeca shortly called “If Walls Could Talk Ft. Smoke (Field Mob). His release date will be announced shortly.
The second phenomenal artist is Gina Zollman, who splits her time in Canada and Palm Springs. She and co-writer Kevin Fisher will be unveiling their first Tribeca song called “Where I Begin” on July 19th 2024 where it will be available to stream world-wide on all digital platforms. Gina is a singer/songwriter and live entertainer who started singing when she was 6 years old and who sells out every show. After graduating from UCSD Revelle College she joined the work force as a high-profile stockbroker, but show-biz called to her and she left her job to become a singer.
Congratulations to world renowned violinist Daisy Jopling who unveiled her latest single on Tribeca Records on June 7th, 2024 called “Vivaldi’s Winter First Movement Live.” Daisy is a classical/rock violinist born in London but is now based in New York. She is the first international violinist to perform a major concert at the great pyramids. Join her July 12-14 for a historical music adventure at the Historic Cornish/Northgate Estate Ruins for three beautiful and exciting concerts.
Nashville recording artist Jenny Grace celebrated her new release on June 28, 2024 called “Ride On.” Also nominated for a Josie Music Award in multiple categories (Songwriter of the Year, Rising Star and others). Aside from her country spirit and unique story telling abilities Jenny is also a super talented metal, rock singer and has released music under the name Aaetheria also via Tribeca Records. Jenny Grace will be performing live in New York and surrounding areas this summer.
Lastly the multi-award winning composer Randy Edelman will be releasing a gift of peace to the world on July 12, 2024 called “Birds of Freedom.” The beautiful song is an overture to his new album release this September called “ Waltzing On A High Wire.” The world renowned maestro has scored over 100 films and television shows (Last of the Mohicans, My Cousin Vinny, MacGyver) and has written pop songs covered by the most popular artists on the planet (Barry Manilow, Patti LaBelle, Nelly). Randy will be performing Live on the stage of The Grand Ole Opry on October 27, 2024. He will also be debuting at the prestigious Zankel Hall Stage at Carnegie Hall on December 8, 2024. Tickets are available beginning July 12, 2024.
Congratulations to those Tribeca artists who have been nominated for a Josie Music Award (the largest, most prestigious, most respected and revered event and association in the independent music industry).
