Marks Longest Monthly Key Demo Winning Streak on Record
Ranks as #1 Afternoon News Program on All of TV
Nov. 26, 2024 — NBC News Daily is the #1 afternoon news program on all of television in the key demos during its timeslot for the month of November, according to Nielsen Media Research.
Winning the key A25-54 and A18-49 demos for November, NBC News Daily averages 245,000 A25-54 viewers, leading GMA3 by +15,000 (+7%). Ranking #1 for the seventh consecutive month, this marks NBC News Daily’s longest monthly demo winning streak on record.

For the week, NBC News Daily wins the key A25-54 and A18-49 demos. This is NBC News Daily’s 10th key demo win in the last 12 weeks of head-to-head competition. NBC News Daily averaged 241,000 A25-54 viewers, outperforming GMA3 by +24,000 (+11%).
Season-to-date, NBC News Daily is the #1 afternoon news program on all of TV in the key A25-54 demo, ahead of GMA3, also posting total viewership growth vs. last season. Since its premiere in September 2022, NBC News Daily has ranked ahead of CNN every week during the 12-4 p.m. ET daypart in total viewers and the key A25-54 demo.
NBC News Daily reaches even more viewers on its NBC News NOW streaming platform. Kate Snow, Morgan Radford, Vicky Nguyen and Zinhle Essamuah anchor from 12-4 p.m. ET on NBC News NOW, and depending on location, U.S. markets receive one of the four hours on their local NBC broadcast stations.
